Australia is a highly efficient place to start a business. Australia was ranked second in the world for ease of starting a business and ninth overall for the ease of doing business according to the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation.

Australia ranks highly for technological infrastructure. Australia has one of the highest broadband, mobile and internet subscriber penetration rates in the world.
