The Hon. Tony Kelly MLC

Regional NSW is rich with business opportunities and driving further business investment in regional NSW is my key priority as Minister for Regional Development.

The NSW Government is working hard to ensure regional businesses and communities have a sustainable future, by creating jobs and improving living standards.

The Department of State and Regional Development (DSRD) works with businesses and communities across regional NSW to help them grow and prosper.

We understand that community economic development plays an important role in helping regional communities become strong, viable locations by improving the local business climate, and attracting jobs and investment into regional NSW.

An important part of our work is our suite of community economic development programs and business growth programs that are helping to open doors for regional business.

Our work with regional communities is detailed in the 'regional communities' section of the website.

Regional NSW has many positive features that make it attractive for business.  As well as enjoying our great environment, people living in regional NSW spend less time travelling to work, enjoy ready access to facilities and amenities, and share a great sense of community.

I encourage you to contact the Department to find out how we can help you do business or relocate your business to regional NSW.
