Collaborative Solutions Program

Program Overview

The Collaborative Solutions Program was developed by the NSW Government and is managed by NSW Trade & Investment.

The Program supports industry to develop innovative and compelling ICT-enabled solutions in key sectors that demonstrate the benefits of the digital economy.  It focuses on opportunities, challenges and changing business models brought about by emerging technologies such as mobile computing, cloud computing, and ubiquitous high-speed broadband.  It does this by awarding incentive grants for the development and piloting of these new solutions.

A key outcome of the Program will be the facilitation of businesses coming together to address specific opportunities and challenges brought about by emerging technologies.  This leads to the development and trial of new ICT solutions together with consortia partners to test technologies in the field, validate consumer assumptions and accelerate the shift to new business models. 

The Program adopts a contemporary approach to industry development by catalysing collaboration. This model has successfully delivered innovative world-class solutions in other ICT-leading nations, in sectors such as Tourism, Finance, Education, Healthcare, and Media and Entertainment.

Collaborative Solutions – Mobile Concierge (CS-MC) - CLOSED

The Collaborative Solutions – Mobile Concierge was the first of a series of calls for industry to form collaborative consortia to develop innovative and new-to-market ICT solutions in key sectors that demonstrate the benefits of the digital economy.  This first program targeted the use of mobile and wireless technologies in the tourism and retail sectors. Collaborative Solutions – Mobile Government (CS-MG)  - CLOSED

The Collaborative Solutions – Mobile Government is the second call for applications in this program series. CS-MG focuses on the use of mobile and wireless solutions to improve public-sector productivity with solutions piloted at the NSW Department of Trade & Investment, Regional Infrastructure & Services. The target audience includes mobile application developers, technology providers, service providers, device manufacturers, research organisations, and user organisations in the Department.
