Economic Development Australia (EDA) is the new national professional body for economic development practitioners. The EDA will act as a forum for members and distributor of significant information about economic development initiatives and events.

Membership of the new body is open to all with a professional interest or involvement in industry and economic development. 

The EDA is expected to take an active involvement in the communication of ideas in the economic development field and emerging international trends.
