Population Over 2000

The Community Economic Development Program (Population Over 2000) helps communities find a new direction based on their unique strengths. This program is designed to improve the general business climate and benefit the broader community. This program is not restricted to the retail sector.


The Community Economic Development Program (Population Over 2000) is available to localities with a population greater than 2000. It aims to increase business and economic activity and to foster a commitment from local government for economic development.

Applications are invited from sponsoring organisations such as chambers of commerce or local councils, on behalf od their community.
