International markets & contacts
NSW Trade & Investment has identified China, India, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom and Japan as six key markets to foster trade and investment.
The NSW Government has established four international offices in China (Shanghai and Guangzhou), India (Mumbai) and the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi). These four offices were selected on the basis of their substantial value to the NSW economy and the opportunities for further growth. The offices are actively promoting NSW as a destination for international investment, events, tourism and as a source of world-class products and services.
The Department is also implementing sector-specific strategies for the USA, UK and Japan by working closely with local allies and corporates to build awareness of NSW strengths and opportunities in areas including financial services, ICT, infrastructure, green technology, scientific research and the creative industries.
