Business Owner (Provisional) 163

For people who are less than 55 years of age with a successful business career including senior management or business ownership.

Investor (Provisional) 165

For people who are less than 55 years of age who have a successful business record and will deposit $A 750,000 with the NSW Treasury Corporation for four years and will live in NSW for no less than two years.

Senior Executive (Provisional) 164

For people who are less than 55 years of age and who are employed in top management of a business with a turnover of at least $A10,000,000 pa.

Investor Retiree (Temporary) 405

For people who are over 55 years of age who have a successful business record and will deposit $A750,000 with the NSW Treasury Corporation for four years ($A500,000 in regional areas).

Business Owner (Permanent) 892

For holders of a qualifying provisional visa or Business (Long Stay) Independent Executive visa who have operated a business in Australia for at least two years with a turnover of at least $A 200,000 pa.

For holders of a qualifying Investor (Provisional) visa who have been resident in NSW for at least two of the last four years and have a commitment to continue business or investment activity in NSW.

For holders of a qualifying Business (Long Stay) visa who have owned a business in a regional area for the past two years.

Business Talent 132

For people with an outstanding track record of success in business and a proposal for a significant investment in NSW consistent with their business background that generates exceptional benefits for the State. This category applies to a very limited number of applicants.

Other visa classes

The NSW Department of Trade and Investment does not sponsor applications for any other business visa subclasses.
