Industry & Investment NSW is providing $22,000 to the Wauchope Chamber of Commerce and Industry to help plan for the future tourism and business needs of the community.

The Wauchope Chamber of Commerce and Industry is working with businesses and the community to plan for the economic future of the district. The Chamber will soon be conducting a survey of businesses and residents to see what needs to be done to help retain and develop local businesses.

Results from this survey will guide projects to increase local business activity and attract new investment. This will also feed into Port Macquarie Hastings Council’s plans to upgrade the Wauchope business district.

This project is also supported by Port Macquarie Hastings Council, the ANZ bank and the Wauchope Gazette.
