Apply for a $4,000 subsidy to exhibit in the Flavours of NSW zone at Fine Food Australia 2021, ICC Sydney

Fine Food Australia is the Southern Hemisphere’s biggest food & beverage trade show. Running for over 35 years, it attracts thousands of exhibitors and industry professionals from Australasia and beyond.

This year, the show will be held from 6 – 9 September at ICC Sydney.

The NSW Government will subsidise up to 12 emerging NSW food & beverage producers and technology manufacturers $4,000 each to exhibit in the Flavours of NSW zone at Fine Food Australia. The Flavours of NSW zone will highlight a range of niche and specialised producers from across the state and demonstrate the variety and quality of our products.

Complete and submit the form below to apply for the subsidy for a furnished stand at Fine Food Australia. Successful applicants will be required to fund the balance of their stand hire of $3,345 plus GST or $3,545 plus GST for a corner stand.

Businesses applying for a subsidy must:

  • Be registered, located and operating in NSW.
  • Be manufacturing their own food and/or beverage products primarily in NSW, or adding significant value to its food and/or beverage products through a manufacturing process primarily in NSW.
  • Have been trading for at least 2 years as at 6 April 2021.
  • Have at least 3 full time equivalent employees, including owner/s.
  • Be financially viable and solvent.
  • Be interested in exporting internationally or already doing so.

Assessment of applications is determined through a competitive process that may include a second round incorporating the submission of a short, smart phone captured video.

Registrations close on Friday 30 April 2021.

1.    Submitting an application does not guarantee a subsided space in the Flavours of NSW zone at the Fine Food Australia trade show.

2.    Successful applicants will receive a subsidy of $4,000 towards a 3m x 3m furnished stand (1 table, 2 chairs, 4 shelves, 1 lockable counter, 1 x 4amp power) in the Flavours of NSW zone at the Fine Food Australia trade show. 

3.    Selection of successful applicants is at the sole discretion of the NSW Government. 

4.    In assessing applications, we may take into account the information on your application and any information we receive from any other source.

5.    We may discontinue or change this application process at our discretion at any time.

6.    If your application is successful:

a.    you will be required to fund the balance of your exhibition costs ($3,345 plus GST or 
$3,545 plus GST for a corner stand, plus mini fridge if required and any other non-standard furniture) via agreement with the organisers of Fine Food Australia (Diversified Exhibitions Australia Pty Ltd);

b.    you will be required to enter into an agreement with the organisers of Fine Food Australia (Diversified Exhibitions Australia Pty Ltd) which will include other terms and conditions;

c.    you must comply with any terms and conditions required by the Fine Food Australia event organisers (Diversified Exhibitions Australia Pty Ltd) and the venue owners (International Convention Centre Sydney); and

d.    we may use your business as the subject of publicity and for case studies.

e.    you will be required to participate in follow-up surveys to enable us to assess the benefits of the initiative and its impacts on your business. 

7.    We will treat your application as confidential, subject to its obligations under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009. This means that we may have to release information in response to a request lodged under that Act.

8.    We are collecting, and may use, your personal information for the purposes of assessing applications and to send communications about business related activities. We may disclose the information to staff administering the program and to other NSW Government staff in order to assess and administer applications. 

9.    If you do not provide the information required on this form we are not able to assess your application.
