The Access India program is a cornerstone initiative of the Premier’s $1.58 million commitment to growing our technology and innovation relationship with India. The program will see 7 startups and scale-ups with unique and globally scalable solutions in the Cleantech, Medtech and advanced manufacturing sectors receive ongoing support, mentoring insight and opportunities to help them succeed in India.

Andrew Mears
CEO and Founder
Newcastle renewable energy company whose technology helps better manage energy use and costs and improve electricity supply resilience. Its technology provides full visibility of solar and battery assets and optimises performance.

Dr Bennett Shum

Chatswood based medtech company that has developed home test kits for screening babies and children for up to 60 serious conditions using pain free mouth swabs that are accessible via an online ordering platform, with results delivered through medical practitioners.

Anshul Dayal

Eveleigh based medtech company that is using clinically proven virtual reality to make rehabilitation exercises more fun and emotionally engaging for stroke patients and others with brain injuries and neurodegenerative conditions.

Online tyre trading platform that aims to put power in customer hands through transparency on products, pricing and service. It is linked to over 50 wholesalers and manufacturers with over 20,000 different products, 10 million tyres and access to over 500 tyre fitters.

Vapar’s web platform processes pipe CCTV footage into data and mapped visualisations with artificial intelligence used to prioritise pipe remediation works.
